Capital Campaign

The Norman M. Fain Hillel Center at the University of Rhode Island

The Norman M. Fain Hillel Center at the University of Rhode Island will serve as a central meeting point where students can come together to celebrate Jewish life, explore Jewish and universal issues, build life-long relationships and enrich their personal growth.

Located at 6 Fraternity Circle, in the refurbished and redesigned former AEPi Fraternity house, Hillel plans to open a 5,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility in January 2010. The Norman M. Fain Hillel Center is a warm and welcoming destination in the heart of "Freshman Village," where students can meet friends informally and attend programs and services.

Although construction is now complete, Hillel continues to raise funds for the PermanentEndowment which supports ongoing building operations and maintenance. Naming opportunities are available for gifts of $5,000 and above. Gifts may be paid over a 3-5 year period. All gifts of $1500 or more will be acknowledged in the Norman M. Fain Hillel Center.

Capital gifts made to Hillel through the URI Foundation will receive University of Rhode Island acknoledgement and recognition. For more information on naming opportunities and other giving opportunities, please contact Amy Olson, Executive Director.
